SxExCx's secret special intake idea?

 

I'm pretty sure he's modded a few OEM intakes with his "secret" idea.

I have done 9 of them now and everyone is very happy. If I understand correctly, a car with my setup has put down one of the highest dyno numbers.

 

You gave them the last few hp they needed to put them on top.

 

The setup has evolved a little after each install. I will be doing mine as soon as I get my car back and I will post up.

 

but but we will never know since your stuff was not there for the intake shoot out! :P

I know this increases performance but how about sound?

Slight increase in sound due to the extra air, but don't expect it to sound like other aftermarket intakes. My furookie is still louder than my z-tube+350z airbox w/Sean's intake mod, but the furookie suffers from heatsoak.

 

Is it a noticeable gain versus my Ztube + OEM Airbox with aftermarket filter?

Is it a big diff with my current setup?

 

This is very irritating. What does this mod involved? New tube? Hacking of OEM tube? Keep stock airbox? Cone filter? Velocity stack?

Any dyno numbers? Highest dynoing NA cars? What are the numbers like?

Not calling anyone out, I'm just wondering. I really like to know these kinds of things and it annoys me when I dont. ****.. <-- sorrry i just had to say it it was on the tip of my tongue.
