Sean, can this be done with z tube and OEM MAF housing?... I'm going to the track next weekend (got a couple little Osiris tweaks today from Shawn Church)... I can test out before and afters at the track (if its easy enough to swap) - and go to Church's later for dyno... lmk

^ I believe he dyno'ed @ 306hp with my setup, ART pipes, exhaust, MREV2, and spacer.

My setup can be done with any box-style intake and requires hacking up the box and core support.

I presume you mean OEM airbox?... cutting a hole if the core support (350Z-esque) has been done... is that the mod?

yes, I do have to cut. My mod isn't a new idea by any means. I have just found the right parts to make it safe and efficient.

okay - I think I see what it is... I'm not sure I'd be willing to ditch the filter setup I use... but the core support mod is something I've been meaning to do (for like three years )

The OEM z box uses the same filter, no need to change.

I'd be interested to see what you're doing to the core support (aside from cutting)... are you running something from the front side of it?.... if it's too hush, may I can stop be sometime? Or PM so I know if it's something I want to do

I use a Stillen box with pop charger... just wanted to make sure its not a different induction tube (since I use Z Tube and OEM MAF housing)...
