Muffler Delete/Tuning Question
^ Not feeling the Single Tip. MR catback sounds pretty nice, but I don't think the 3inch piping will be too good for an NA motor.

OP: I am surprised you're not satisfied with the HKS. Put on the HKS recently and I really like it, although it is a lot quieter then I expected. Really screams when you stomp on the gas though. I was thinking about getting a magnaflow too, but I don't think the magnaflow would be much louder then the HKS. I wonder how the HKS would sound paired up with resonated tp/hfc

O, if you have 03-04 sedan you need to get a 05-06 or a coupe midpipe to get the true wonderful sound the HKS can make. With the early larger resonator you won't get much sound, but with the smaller resonator, it is pure sex. I have it on my 05 and it is louder than a coupe or 350z, but a similar sound.
Can u post sound clips of ur setup, i would love to hear it with an xyz. I also have a muffler delete but instead if running a straight midpipe i got a 350z middy instead that sounds very good.

It'll be later tomorrow afternoon but I can post it for ya. The xyz gives it NO rasp and it really doesn't drone (mine's a 6mt so I usually don't let the car get above 3kish)
