Question Ordering intake need peoples advices

Hello everyone I want to order an intake today or tomorrow. I was thinking either go with a Z-tube and a JWT pop charger, Z-tube and AAM cone, or something else something under $200. I'm going to a race track (drag racing) with my friend next week wanted something cheap that I can add just little more power I know I can't expect anything huge but hey worth a try. BTW he has a 08 GTI with a stage 1 APR chip its a auto but it is a DSG which is a very fast auto lol I have driven that car before without the chip. My car is a 07 G coupe 6MT on stock 19's with Hankook Ventus V12 tires. I was wondering if you guys could give me some tricks that I can do to beat him. I will go with 1/4 tank of gas and take everything out of the trunk, I wanted to know what PSI to run the rear tires? for a better launch? and what RPM should I launch it at and more info pleaseeee.

Thank you all I will post some pics of the car soon I promise.

Since you have a revup, your stock airbox is very good. If you feel like spending some more money, the Stillen is pretty good too, and sounds cooler lol. HP won't differentiate much between the two.

I'll buy your airbox if you swap it out for something else .

Thank you! You can get a used one off of a 350z for like $50, or you can buy the Stillen z-tube. Find both in our private or vendor marketplace. Or on my350z.com.

save cash by also finding the filters used.

Me personally I would go with the AFE drop in filter. Its dry flow and filters better than K&N

Really I was about to ask about AFE lol it's almost the same price as the K&N and I had it on my BMW and No complaints. I'll do some research on that

No problem. I'm afraid I can't tell you how much I paid for mine since Dustin gave me a very nice hook up , but I think normal pricing is around $500 or so.

Since you want power, save your money and skip on the intake.

Since you have an 07 6MT (REVUP engine), a spacer isn't going to do squat without an MREV2.

The biggest power increase you can get for under $200 and will give you more power than an intake is...test pipes. They only cost about $100-150 new and used.

Take it from someone who drag races at least twice a month at a minimum. See my videos in the link below.
