and came thru this
https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-...st-note-2.html
but didnt really found my answer
i have a 2004 auto sedan
and when i turned it on today
i noticed it was only blowing and making noise from one muffler and nothing from the other

the green line means its blowing out a lil bit of smoke and making noise
the red means nothing
is there something wrong or is this normal or what

That's normal; there's a flapper in the muffler that restricts the flow to one side until the car is warmed up. After a while you'll notice exhaust coming out of both outlets.
Those red and green lines, however, are NOT normal, LOL!!

I am pretty certain the flap opens according to a certain rpm. Not that its an ecu fucntion but the velocity is high enough over say 3k rpms where the flap opens up. I had the same system on my old 2k1 maxima oem muffler.
The coupe does not have this flapper. The coupe muffler is a cross-flow style and is arguably more restrictive overall.

It's the flapper doesn't have an air tight fit. If you see equal amounts of fumes coming from the exhaust at idle, then it could be that the flapper is seized open.
