I dont mean to be a thread jacker but i notice something.. My friend has an 05 coupe and it had a HKS exhaust on it with test pipes. He was parting out so had stock cats and exhaust again. But we notice comparing our stock exhaust... mine was significantly louder than his by A LOT!
whats the reason for this???

I agree that it definitely sounds good.. but a Lambo? Heh... not even close to that good.

There's no valve in the exhaust on our cars.... the exhaust and sound just comes from the side with the least resistance/easiest flow.

I have seen a valve like this before the muffler. LIke an extension off one of the header pipes. Normally that extension would have a flex hose that has a valve in it wich lets the hot air reach the throttle body when the car is warming up.
The valve closes when the engine is warmed up, and heated air is no longer needed.
