Mine didn't come on after installing my Z tube and pop charger, if that helps any.

It's always safe to unplug the battery just "incase" IMO.

And reset the ECU after the install.

I got the berk ztube and put in a new k&n and its noticeably louder to me at WOT.
It didnt really change the intake sound but more like magnified it...

Due to the shorter intake runner design (ie intake manifold) of your car's "revup" motor, the induction noise change of the Z-tube isn't going to be as obvious as those of us with the longer intake runner non-Revup motors found in all 03-07 automatics and 03-04 6MTs. If you went with the MREV setup from Motordyne, you'd notice a bit more induction noise because it uses the longer runner design.

jwt pop charger has heat soak bad. which is why i got rid of that heat shield and got a stillen air box to go with the pop charger filter (its much better design than the stillen filter, IMO)

^thats another thing i never understood. why replace the oem airbox with another airbox that looks and functions the same? besides the fact that now u have a cone filter in there instead of a panel filter.
