Although many will say it's not worth the time or money to do the install, the best are DC Headers. Other designs are based on or replicates their design, and construction is usually not as good. And yes, it is that much work to install headers on this car!

Test pipes... look for really good welds.

Unless you plan on trying to get the most out of a supercharger, don't bother with headers. They will sound great on the car but the cost isn't worth it.

I'd skip the Megan test pipes and go for something with better welds. And the headers aren't going to make much power at all unless you're sc'd, but is going to cost a lot to get installed. If you plan on doing the install yourself... good luck... we pulled my motor to install my headers because it seemed to be the simplest way to install them.

Since you live in CA. are you aware they've started on the spot roadside smog checks? If you're caught with test pipes you could have your ride impounded and receive a $1200+ fine....$1200 fine plus impound fees $300 per day will add up quickly. Is that really worth running test pipes? At least with HFCs you'll pass the sniffer test and you won't be stopped....your choice!

Florida ftw...no sniffers here (except for the other kind) hehe... but ya DC headers are really good and if you can get away with it Megan test pipes, or like Gary said the ART pipes are really good and pass your regulations...
