Okay so I got back from Mike. Apparently I just have the older model Berks. Bolted up just fine but I dont like the fact I got the "older" model and didnt know about it and payed just as much as the newer model. I could have purchased from b2autoracing and got it for cheaper for the newer looking model. Installed it and it works fine. Making a new thread for the review.

 

Oh yeah the HFC definitely opens up the exhaust forsure bc I had a leak on my nismo y-pipe but it wasn't a big deal to me. It only made a whistle sound when I was on the highway at WOT but now with the HFC it whistles everytime I floor it. Sealing up the leak right now TIG weld as I write this.

 

im thinking of getting some but not sure if its worth it..i have just the stock exhaust...so is it worth it?

 

I noticed that when I bought my BERK'S I had a choice of polished or unpolished, who's going to see them anyway? The largest restriction within the OE exhaust system is the cats. Once you see them off you'll wonder how anything ever got thru that dual cat converter. You can easily pick up 5 to 8 HP by installing HFCs with your OE exhaust system and it will sound better too!

CZP has been proven to have their hand in fake parts and try passing them off as authentic, 300zx crowd has been on their *** for a while, and they've pulled some major shlt I am VERY surprised there hasn't been any threads about their latest issue on either Gdriver or my350

throw up some pictures man do yourself and us all a favour so we could inspect and see the part in question.

like I said CZP has been busted twice now for making fake parts by the 300zx guys...

FOR EXAMPLE, NOT FACTUAL let's say they're selling Berk parts, what they would do is copy the part best as they could (make a fake) and stamp a Berk name on it or whatever and sell it as Berk to unassuming customers

These are Authentic BERK products, and they are not fake. I will get BERK involved in this to get this cleared up.

 

I've just contact Berk Technology and spoke to a tech named Brian. He assured me that my product was an authentic Berk piece and that it was actually the revised "newer" model. From what is being advertised is the older model and that they havent sold the one displayed on advertisement for 2 years now. About the 02 sensors, they split them up for all the applications now due to better outcomes from the 02 sensors than having them right next to each other.

I do apologize for causing any misunderstanding. It was just a matter of making sure I received a authentic Berk product instead of a replicated one. With the other situations brought up about CZP selling fake products just raised questions so I had to find out. Hope this clears everything and helps everyone.

 

these people need to update their fkn site. how hard can it be to cut and paste updated photos. i hate that

 

Berk doesn't have updated pictures for the VQ35DE, and that's the problem. We'll go ahead and take the pics for the updated ones and post shortly.
