... after i get home my friends tell me that it was the 4th of july behind my car during a canyon run. my best guess is my low hanging MR y-pipe is gettin' thrashed. is there a known fix for this? i know the flex gets badly frayed on low cars... and i can raise my car a tad bit, but in the end it's avoiding the problem not really fixing it. can i perhaps have an exhaust shop make a bracket for me? i'm running a nismo exhaust with the MR y pipe and i really love the sound. so any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah any good exhaust shop should be able to make a mount for the exhaust, assuming it is the exhaust, get under there and check it out, see what is most effed up.

 

This maybe off topic but why change out the y-pipe for the nismo? Bc I have a nismo too and my y-pipe has a leak and I was wondering if urs did that?

 

i changed my ypipe for a megan racing HR ypipe. most nismo exhausts are sold without the y pipe because they leak...

update* i put hangers on the y pipe. no scraping. dope

 

did you put custom hangers on it ?

i haven't been underneath the car for a while, i forget if there are OEM hangers in place

 

yeaaah the muffler shop welded some brackets and put a hanger on the y pipe to hold it up
