I currently have the oem stock exhaust set up on my 04 g. It seemed like its getting quieter. Does weather have anything to do with that? Last coupe of days it has been getting warmer. It seemed like it was louder just a couple of days ago!!

One possible way weather/temperature might have a influence on how your OE exhaust sounds is if you have a small leak when it's cold. When it warms up due to metal expansion it goes away. Also sound waves travel faster/farther when temperatures are very low. You obviously listen to your G35, that a good thing....

When i had my stock exhaust it always seemed louder when my fuel tank is low on fuel

 

is there any way of telling a exhaust leak? the other day i hit a nasty speed bump, scraped the crap out of my car.

Your probably getting use to it
