Since preferences in exhaust notes differ and most of the Gs you've heard have had a "ricer" sound can you tell us what type of exhaust setup they've had so we know what you consider to be rice?

I noticed you have the FI exhaust with ART pipes, how did the art pipes change the tone and what else did you notice? i've been looking forward to hearing this combo. and for the OP follow this link this should help you make a decision.

Originally i had FI HFC. going to MD ART the sound is very similar. i have videos but the camera sound quality sucks so you can't even hear how it truly sound The only difference is that the hfc are a bit louder. with MD ART at idle the car is quiet. but deepness is same during normal driving and still sounds aggressive at WOT.

drop a LSx in there if you want a guaranteed v8 sound but my Ark sounds great not 'ricey'.

use a camaro flowmaster . it is set up the same way your stock muffler is. I have one on mine and I like it alot. I also cut out the midpipe resonator.

Here we go again, wtf does the word "RICER" mean? Exhaust sound begins with the "Head Design" within the exhaust valves. Nothing you could do to our Infinitis would make it sound like the "Fart Cannon" sound of a Honda. I suppose that's the sound you're referring to. Attend a few meets so you can hear our exhaust systems in person rather than listening to recordings on $2= systems to form your opinions! I didn't spend $2K on my exhaust system to hear it called ricer!

I'm with you on that one. Exhaust sound has a lot more to do with the engine than the exhaust itself I think. Stick the same muffler on a honda and our cars and get a very tin like ricer sound out of the honda and something totally different from our cars. But seriously OP look into the HKS (or even HKS knock offs) and test pipes. That is one of the best sounding exhausts out there for our cars (with the exception of the 2K+ ones like amuse and those.
