2005 Sedan both Cats are bad

I just found out that due to a ongoing misfire issue that both of my cats are bad and the dealer will want 3 grand to repair parts and labor included....Are there any aftermarket options or any I pretty much screwed at this point?

First, get a second opinion. Both cats don't just die. There's no moving parts nor are they high tech. If they are both clogged (ie melted or covered in soot/fuel), then you've got some sort of engine trouble that's essentially causing an excessive lean or rich condition.

What mods do you have?

If both cats are bad, buy a used set. They're everywhere on this site and my350Z.com. You can pick up a used set for $100-200. Install should be around $150 or less.

I just took my stock cats off yesterday. came off 05 sedan, worked fine when i took them off. I replaced them with a set of high flow cats (HFC) that i got. Let me know if you want them

I bet you didn't change kitty litter box on regular basis. Cats don't like that.
