Test pipe exploding

Its probably because you heat wrapped the test pipes. There was a post a long time ago about heat wrapping test pipes causes uneven heating to the test pipes causing the welds to crack and eventually they cause a leak.

i just checked out the test pipes for the first time since it happened and i found that it almost snapped in half and is being held on by like 3 inches of metal. i was going to call up helix and complain but either they have changed there name or went out of business because i cannot seem to find there number. any ideas on what test pipes i should go with next?
