If everything goes well I plan on posting up a DIY with pictures within the next month.
There is definitely more to an MREV2 than that. Where did you get it from?

Here's what I've been up to. Pretty much just smoothed out the humps and inputs to the ports. Also shaved down the side of the runner in the back (#6?), it looked close to the top plenum wall, so I'm thinking it will help airflow a little around the side of that runner. Need to pick up a spacer and get this thing installed.

Good stuff. I've also searched out a couple 20pg threads about DIY plenum modifications, fake mrevs and this pretty much sums it up. My gut tells me even a plain non-revup plenum with a spacer works well in an otherwise stock revup motor.

I got a hold of a spacer and installed mine a few weeks ago. It definitely made a noticeable improvement. The butt dyno is happy

DIY nonrevup plenum on top, revup on bottom.

So I conned a co-worker, I mean a friend with a 350z asked me to take a crack at his manifold. After looking at it a little longer, I think the airflow around the 2 inputs that are closest to the outside edge could be improved. So I took this one a little bit further, in this picture it's the top left and bottom right portions I'm referring to:

I followed the flow of the casting a little better:

Here's the same area originally:

This is the other one I notched out:

Thoughts? It's not installed yet, wondering if I should take the second area down a bit more.
