Nismo G35 Cold Air Intake
Nismo G35 Cold Air Intake
Hey guys I was on www.nismoparts.com yesterday and saw that there is actually an intake made for the G35 cars. They cost about $324.00 with $38.00 shipping. It looks really nice with the G35 lettering on it but I don't no if I like the price. We have all had conversations about intakes and have found that they do little or nothing for performance but add a great look and sound under the hood. Plus it's made of metal which will further decrease performance due to heat soak. With all that said though, it's a good looking intake.

Please for the love of God dont spend that kind of money on an intake, i dont care if its made out of gold...
It's been consistently proven that CAI (ANY brand) will give you no Gains and might even LOWER your hp/tq...
If you're looking for sound, then get a CAI but please dont spend more than $100, if you want power, then get a Z tube and a new high flow filter...

I doubt it's really R&D...I'm sure they just copied every other CAI out there and slapped their name on it and jacked up the price... I'm sure 95% of that cost is going towards the brand name...

I didn't have a question man I was just saying what I found on the site just in case some of the other guys were entrested. It's nice to have an intake specially for the G35 but it is a little expensive with all the other ones out there. I just purchased a WEAPONS R DRAGON INTAKE from www.coopscustoms.com for $136.00 with free shipping. Also, www.TunersDepot.com has X3 cold air intakes for $88.95 and $93.95 so it just wouldn't make since to pay that much just to have the letters G35 ingraved on it.
