Magnaflow Crossover + HKS Exhaust....?
Yep, I have expertly illustrated the proper cutting points here with my advanced graphical editing program, mspaint.exe.

And since the thread has been defib'd back to life: I plan on getting 60mm piping along with a G37 swaybar so I can eliminate the final bend.
I may be able to dyno test the placement of my x pipe, before and after. Will post when I get a chance.
and Edit: I can happily report my exhaust has fully broken in. I now only have rasp at FULL throttle, past 5500rpm. I can has a video of what it sounds like at 4500. The rasp at full throttle is nice, as it's the muffled pulses as they get closer together. (Similar to what you get out of a long tube set up.)

Unresonated, just one part number lower than gary's.

The mufflers were the most expensive, at just over $200 a pop. I used HKS Hi Power 60mm inlet mufflers. The X pipe was $80, and the tubing/ install was $160. $640 for everything.
A lot of guys have used cheaper mufflers, but I don't like the sound as much.

cutting out the H-pipe and resonators on the HKS replica is a big section of the exhaust. if the x-pipe mod is done.... will there need to be an extension welded on also? or is the 20 inches from the magnaflow x-pipe enough?
Updated my magnaflow part number.
thisiswang, I would put the x pipe as close to the cylinders as possible (right after the initial bend in your exhaust) Taking out the original resonators and replacing with pipe is also a good choice because those are poor quality from what I've heard.
Your exhaust guy will have tubing for it, but yeah it should be about 20 inches x2

The H-pipe is what comes with the system.... you want to cut that off and get the X-pipe welded on.
