Ok so I am currently running a stillen exhaust and I was a little disappointed. it was a little to quiet for my taste, but It still had the tone I was looking for. So to fix that problem I added some xerd long tube headers now prior to installing the header I knew I would run into some rasp issues but damn it's worse than I thought once the car revs past 3k Rpms the rasp is almost unbearable makes my G almost sound like a Honda with one of those fart cans... So to fix the issue I'm thinking of adding some resonators to my exhaust. do any of you have any suggestions or maybe another option I might have excluding getting rid of the exhaust or the headers.

 

If it's a dual exhaust, get a Magnaflow x-pipe and your rasp will be gone

 

So the stillen x pipe isn't any good?

 

I think you'll have rasp no matter what with those long tube headers.

 

I don't think Stillen xpipe is resonated. I guess resonators welded in would have the same effect as the Magnaflow. It definitely would cut the rasp at least somewhat

 

No stillen x pipe is not resonated but im sure I can add some.. Should I put it on the x pipe or mid pipes
