Post 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe Borla Exhaust BEFORE/AFTER (Video)

Here is my 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe video with a stock exhaust then a Borla Exhaust swap. The car actually sounded louder with the stock exhaust at idol but once the Borla was put on it has more of a "race car" sound at higher RPM's. Not sure why the stock one was louder at idol - but seems like it was a clunkier loudness rather than a smooth sound that the Borla gives. I also have the Injen Cold Air Intake as well for the before and after. Let me know what you guys think!

For the record: the smoke is not a added mod - it was cold that day

There's something about the stock sound I love! Is there any other exhaust out there that will enhance the sound but not change the tune?

Yes Borla Exhaust is pretty good - gives it a nice sound. Next step is the Borla Headers which I plan on installing sometime soon.

now that you've altered the intake/exhaust setup, will you change the settings with the ECU?

I haven't thought about doing this nor do I have the equipment to do so.
