y pipe question?

i got a magnaflow exhaust and testpipes on my car but still have a stock y pipe and the car is to quiet for me. i thought i would be louder but its jus barley louder than stock. i was wonderin if gettin a aftermarket y pipe would help sound louder at all because idk if the stock y pipe is resonated or not. thankz!

I don't think swapping out the y-pipe will make enough of a diff
for you especially since aftermarket exhaust with TPs didn't do it for ya.
Maybe going with a true dual exhaust setup would do the trick.
Your best bet is to go to a meet to hear other setups.

^ yeah, if test pipes wasn't enough for you, the addition of a ypipe may not help either.

I upgraded to an HR y-pipe and didn't really notice any change in sound... It won't make much of a difference.

the HR is still a stock y-pipe if you didnt know...

Getting a different Y-pipe can change the sound especially if the diameter is bigger.

I have that same setup but with a megan racing hr y pipe. Mines a bit louder than stock but the most noticeable is the test pipe sound (similar to pinging almost like rocks rattling around) :/ other then that I LOVE my setup
