Just did this mod and used Epoxy. The plastic piece I cut isn't going anywhere lol. It takes like 5 mins for the glue to settle. Took like 30 mins in all.

Make sure you have you've got a good seal all the way around that whole. Hopefully you used an epoxy that doesn't shrink as well.

I used quite a bit of epoxy and it's sealed pretty well. it's the same epoxy I used to seal cracks i had in a coolant resevoir tank on another car and it worked well! (dealership/parts store didnt have a new one..too old of a car)

There's no difference in sound when revving, but when driving and pushing the car passed 4K rpm... that's went it growls a bit. For the cost of glue, it's a pretty easy mod for a bit better sound.

Installed this in the FX today. Didn't put glue in the hole for top resonator b/c I don't trust it'll hold. Coming from a Z-Tube it is a little quieter at idle and light acceleration (2-2.5k shifts). When getting on it (3-5k) it sounds about the same as the z-tube. So 1 stillen z-tube going up for sale. Debating if I want to try the G next or not.
