Question HKS replica question about X pipe

Hey guys I just got the HKS replica I'm liking the sound but it is still breaking in so idk what will happen yet. My main consern is the drone around 2000-2600rpm. So that's about 6th gear 60-70mph, I heard a lot of guys going with the Magnaflow x pipe instead of the H pipe on this system. I did some searching I can't really figure it out what needs to come off and where it goes I think it is the section in the pic I posted below please help me with this guys going to a muffler shop next week because the exhaust didn't line up correctly I need to get that fixed also with the diffuser on it is touching it and I smell the burned plastic smell loll. Thank you and if anyone knows the Part # for the Magnaflow please help me out. I want to order it today to get it ready by next week.

Thank you all here are some pics, is the part in the red box the part that needs to be cut off and replaced with the X-pipe?

Installed on my car as you can see the left side is pretty bad and the right is touching the diffuser really badly and it didn't even have the tip on yet.

Thanks again Mike

I bought this exhaust and was amazed at the good reviews the drone and rasp were terrible. I hated driving my car and anything over 3k rpm sounded like complete ****. I just added the magnaflow xpipe yesterday and feel in love with the car all over again. rasp and drone are completely gone. imo it sounds just like the factory exhaust only louder. yes it will replace the resonators in the red box. part # is 11386

I've had this exhaust before and it sounds nothing like stock. Do you have test pipes or high flow cats? It sounded amazing with stock cats in my opinion. You might have to have the hinges rewelded to get it aligned properly. That what I heard some do before at the shop I had it installed.

Many people are a big fan of the x-pipe replacement, I haven't personally done it but it is on the list to be done at some point. I would personally recommend that if you are going to go through the hassle of going with test pipes (assuming you are in a state that gives a crap), you should spend the extra money and go with ART pipes which give much better gains.
