For those of you with test pipes...

Just had my Megan Racing V2 Test pipes installed last week. Took off the the brackets around the Old Cats and installed Test pipes..

Now for me this had lowered them and my Y pipe a little since those stock brackets around my cats are no longer there and now I scrape on EVERYTHING. Things I used to get over no problem can no longer do it cause my Y Pipe is scraping on everything.

I am on 350z S. Techs planned on going coils and going a little bit lower but I don't think the car would really be drivable any lower.

Just wondering how many of you guys are slammed with Test pipes and did you do something to support your Test Pipes/ Y pipe to keep it from hanging down lower?

I been lowered on 350z S. Techs for 2+ years now no problems driving scrapes here and there but no big deal but now its scraping everywhere.

Its not the bracket. Its more likely the design. Sounds like they simply go too low.

I agree with Tony, its likely the design. I am slammed and I actually gained a tiny bit of clearance after installing my Labree Resonated TPs. Some things I used to scrape my cats on I typically don't now.

Apparently. Today walking back to my car from the gym (I park far away from everyone else) As I am walking up to it from a Distance I can see my Y pipe hanging down. And I can see it below my car. No other part of my exhaust I just see my Y pipe. That seems way too low if I can see it below my car walking up on it.

Truman: If I had the cash I would do ART pipes lol.

Im going to jack my car up later today make sure everything is still bolted together up there cause its sitting far too low.. Im surprised no one else with Megan Racing Test pipes has brought this up?

Anyone wanna chime in with Megan Racing V2 Test pipes?

Is it possible that they are on backwards? Sounds dumb but is there a difference in the length of the tubes from the center of where they bend? Could be the cause of the problem. Jk the stock manifolds have three bolts and the y pipe has two, not possible

Well I'm going to jack it up and take a look maybe it's something obvious as to why it's sitting so low. I'll even take a picture so you can see lol

All mounting brackets still there for the y pipe and midpipe?

I had the Kinetix unresonated test pipes, I actually gained clearance with those. Y pipe remained the same.

I think im just going to bring mine in a shop in the next day or so have them take a look see if I am missing any brackets or whats going on under there. Also I believe my Test pipes may be damaged because they are rasping like a bitch...

I am not sure if its due to the Mid resonator delete or cause they are damaged..

Something doesnt look right with your y pipe.. I just swapped out my strup test pipes with the megans resonated v2's and I dont get any sag like that. I know the HR tp's are different than the DE's are your sure you have the right test pipes?
