HELP Me choose a HR design Y pipe.

Okay so I have a full NISMO catback exhaust paired up with Berk HFC. The y-pipe with the NISMO is notorious for leaks so.. Im looking into buying a aftermarket y-pipe from a local vendor here but the thing is.. Ive come across two very similar designs like the HR y-pipe but yet they are also different. (M2 performance and Megan)

I would greatly appreciate your help on choosing which one I should get. Price does matter.

If you look carefully, both designs are the same 2.5'' inlet UNTIL it meets at the 3'' outlet.

Which do you think would be the better y-pipe to choose (pros & cons) and give me your reason please.

Here is the link for the picture(last one) M2 performance HR-ypipe.

Here is the link for the picture Megan HR-ypipe

Notice how they are a lil different. Mind you I have a 2006 G35 coupe DE motor. Also if anyone is looking into buying a NISMO Y-pipe let me know =)

I don't think there has ever been a comparison between the 2, so nobody knows.

Just looking at the designs though, I'd say the M2 HR y-pipe looks like it would make the most power. The marge point looks too low on the Megan one. Won't be a huge difference either way though.

i'd go w/the M2 since it look's like it stays a lil' more true to the OEM HR merge

Did you feel any loss in power or gains? Also how did it affect the sound?

i paired it up with my exoticspeed y- back. So I don't know exactly what just the hr y pipe did as far as gains. But I can tell you it did open up the tone vs other exoticspeed y backs.

You really can't go wrong with it, it's like $100 on ebay I believe. If you want an hr y, get the m2 performance one bud.
