I think it should have minimal affect on performance being so far back and since it's after the 2.5" to 3" part.

It will have to be DUAL cats behind the midpipe resonator and it will have very little effect on the power curve.

My bad OP, I should have been paying attention...

The only thing holding me back from ART pipes is the fumes.. I couldn't handle it with my car being a DD and all.. So if there is a way to eliminate the smell while maintaining the performance, I'm 100% in.

Here are some clips during my dyno runs with different exhausts...note that I have a Vortech setup so NA may sound different...my setup is the following:

- DC headers
- Motordyne ART pipes v1
- Motordyne XYZ (w/ either resonator of HFC module)
- Amuse exhaust

ART Pipes and XYZ with resonator straight pipe module

ART Pipes and XYZ with High Flow Cat module

I am currently working on a new part that when it is ready, you will want to try it.

Please contact me in about a month I should have more info ready for you.

Dual HFC's would be perfect. I want the ART pipes + TDX2 so badly and the less fumes the better! Really looking forward to how this turns out.

Definitely interested in this. I will be moving back to Chicago soon and have to pass smog. I already have the exhaust and V2 art pipes. These would be a lot easier to put in and take out compared to removing my art pipes..

In our current production run of Shockwave))) exhaust systems we will manufacture some of them with catalytic converters built into the exhaust. Lead time is ~30 days. And we can sell the midpipes as separates if you need them. No pricing yet.

They will NOT be carb certified though.

That is awesome!

Built in cats and still be able to run ART's! Why buy any other exhaust in this price range?!?!?!

I'd assume there would be additional cost considering the price of the XYZ cat. I think we'd like to see pricing of the full system with cats along with the price of the catted mid section.

I'm still in for pricing. I love your exhaust products Tony. Keep up the hard work

I was looking into buying some ART pipes but decided to go with Berk's HFC's that I just ordered yesterday so I wouldn't have to swap out to pass emissions every year. Lately I have been looking into the Shockwave TDX2 as my exhaust choice instead of going with Momentum Performance. I really like the way the TDX sounds plus its a true dual. If the TDX would be made with cats then I would be interested in the ART pipes again even though I just bought HFC's. I would also be interested in finding out if this setup would pass emissions with the cats. One question I have with the TDX exhaust is, the 3 in. is for FI (that I do plan on doing later down the road). If I where to go with the 3 in before FI would it have any negative effects in the power curve with NA setup till then?

The Shockwave))) TDX is a hybrid of dual 2.5" and dual 3.0".

This provides the best NA results and also provides better FI results.
