I had that same rasp/hiss/buzz on the down rev with my Borla with stock cats. Drove me crazy. I took it all apart re-installed and it was still there. Replaced all the clamps. Still there. Turns out it is just H-pipe turbulence. Some weld in X-pipes to rid it. Search youtube. A bunch of exhaust sound the same way.

I also have Berks now with no problems after 10k... Still have the same noise on the down rev with the HFC's as well.

Looking to just add hfc, was thinking ART pipes but I might just stick with HFC...
Are Berks the best?
Two years later and still didnt make up your mind? I've been running FI HFC for few K miles, I like them.
I have a set of FI HFC, bought new and less than 3k miles on them and now switching to ART pipes. let me know if interested.

Started with BERK'S HFCs and they were shot before one year was up. Called the manufacture when I knew I had a problem at 8 months....they couldn't help me. Warranty ran out they told me I was SOL. Running Fast Intentions for over a year without issues, great sound and no stinky exhaust like ART pipes.

I have FI HFC with Megan HR style Y pipe. Barely any difference in sound, maybe a little louder in my head.

Most likely the same, but a bit louder.

Is it worth it? Everyone will answer that question differently. Some people say NA bolt on mods are useless. You can spend almost 5k in NA mods and get 40whp. Or spend few dollars more go forced induction and you're at 400+WHP.

I like my FI HFCs. I can feel the car breathing a bit better. However I order my motordyne TDX over a month ago and still didn't show up and I'm looking for art pipes as well.

Can I ask the reason for the swap to the ART pipes? Is it for the increased gains? If so, have you checked into our resonated TP's?
