I have the R2C and really like it. It seals against the hood to keep some of the heat out and their filters are some of the best in the industry. They also make filters for a lot of the military vehicles that are subjected to a lot of abuse.
Buy just the front part of the intake it will cost you about the same as the pop charger, pair it up with a z tube, and you're good to go. I had a pop charger as well and sold it after 3 months, the power loss was dramatic and I don't have that issue with the R2C. Plus it looks really good in the engine bay.

It's the sheep mentality. N00bs come to Driver, hear everyone talk about how good the pop is, and buy it for the sound and looks. I should know, I was a victim of this when I bought my car, but it only took me 3 months to yank it out and sell it due to the power loss of heat soak.
The JWT was being used by more than a few reputable tuners and they do use a quality filter. But yes, the heat soak sucks.
My preference is the Stillen. Draws from two sources vs just one.
