2005 Exhaust System Changes
According to the part numbers...
The 05 G35 Sedan's y-pipe, mid-pipe & muffler are new.
The 05 G35X exhaust is different than the 05 G35 and the 04 G35X.
The 05 Coupe has a different y-pipe.
Need pictures of 04 G35X, 05 Sedan, 05 G35X and an 05 Coupe exhaust systems.

Very interesting. Perhaps Nissan got rid of the pinch in the bends on the stock
Y-pipe for the Coupe. This may have helped them achieve the 298hp rating on
the '05 Coupe's.
If the new factory Y-pipe is mandrel bent instead of press bent, and if it's cheaper
than the aftermarket pipes, it might be a good upgrade for 03-04 guys?

I already have a Y pipe & HKS rear.
I'd love to get rid of that suitcase in the middle.
