art pipes rasp??

art pipes rasp??

got major rasp from 2500-3k any way to prevent this got a aftermarket y pipe ??

When I had mine on they had a little rasp, but not much. Only thing I can say is check for leaks. The ART Pipes may still rasp with some exhausts.

By adding ART pipes or HFCs you've removed 80% of the restriction in your exhaust system. Without completing the system with aftermarket pipe/mufflers you're going to be left with strange noises and rasp due to the OE exhaust.

+1 to Paixao and Gary C.

Relative to regular resonated test pipes, the ART pipes greatly reduce rasp but they arent completely rasp proof in every situation. There are some exhaust setups that will still rasp. It depends on the full exhaust design but in most cases its not a problem.
