Best test pipes for your budget?

As of right now i'm trying to get a good quality test pipes on about $200 budget any suggestions? Also they must be resonated due to i'm going to run it on HKS replica/m2 performance. Want to get as least rasp as possible. The Test Pipes that I been really concerning to purchase are Ichiba RTP, Meagan RTP, and Top speed RTP which are actually out of stock as of the 24th (Top Speed). Appreciate the help guys and would love some opinions just cant decide!

There is no such thing in your price range, save your $$ until you can afford MotorDynes ART pipes.

I got a X02 exhaust as well with a resonated xpipe and I bought Megan resonated V2 test pipes (not installed yet) and the quality is great. Got them from ebay real cheap brand new. I would recommend getting the x pipe if u want to stay away from all the drone and rasp.

A test pipe is a straight through pipe instead of cats. No need to spend a ton of money on a name brand one unless you're looking for something that's resonated. If a resonated pipe is not a consideration, I'd just get one made at your local muffler shop, and see if they can do an extended bung for the o2 sensors....will reduce the likelyhood of tripping your CEL. You're probably looking at $50-$100 tops. Some shops wont do it because it's illegal to not run cats on the road....but some will just charge you cash under the table....no receipt, no proof.

The Magnaflow resonated x-pipe is nothing more than a muffler #11385 just Google for the best price, shop around. If you just have a muffler shop make your "test pipes" you'll have major rasp, if you don't care that's the way to go but keep in mind the x-pipe won't eliminate the rasp!

this is my X02 with the x pipe (stock cats) just for reference. Absolutely no rasp or drone.

gotta disagree w/ya on that one. any decent muffler shop would match the piping inlet & outlet diameters to whatever else he's running, so there'd most likely be less rasp than w/a mass produced setup. you're right about the res-x-pipe though, people don't buy them to reduce rasp, they get them to reduce drone.

Is not all 2.5" diameter pipe the same size? Would Tony's (MD) least expensive test pipe not match up perfectly? Only issue I see our members having with test pipes and hfc's are the poor quality aftermarket gaskets. There's not a better gasket than OE unlike the price they try to charge you....
