X-pipe and dual exhaust on Sedan

Has anyone tried doing this to a sedan yet? It look like there is plenty of room. You'd just have to cut out an opening for another exhaust tip.

I bet it'd have a really racy sound to it.

BTW, is it true that the 20 HP difference between the coupe and sedan is mainly in the exhaust system?

Exhaust, polished intake, and a revised ECU program.

It would have been nice if we could have gotten all that from the beginning.

Would be nice. I'd actually like to see an exhaust for the sedan that looks like the 04 Maxima's... twin tips on both sides, with two variable-capacity mufflers to keep it quiet at idle and prevent the low-end torque drop.

How much HP could I get if I polish my intakes. Man that would be sweet the Maxs setup on the G35.

I think I may be wrong! I don't know if you could get the true dual exhaust in there. I think the rear sway bar is in the way on the passenger side.

If you could do it, I don't think the price would be too bad.

I have a guy down here in Miami who does custom exhausts (mandrel bends too). Based upon the other custom work he has done for me in the past, I bet it wouldn't be much more than $600 (inlcuding mufflers).

Hi Quadcam,
You can fit as dual exhaust on there quite easily past that right side sway bar drop. I have had a good look at it and my pipe bending buddy at the shop says a nice easy bend is capable with a 2.5 inch pipe. I asked the same question of the Stillen tech rep who and there new dual system is done under on that side as well with no ground clearance issue at all.
Just thought I would mention it for your info.
Have a good one
Ted
