So I had my ARK V2 exhaust put on. It looks awesome. I was confused as to where the G35 extension went. Usually I see them AFTER the y / x pipe. I test fitted it after the y pipe and it didn't quite fit right. I put it before the y pipe (right behind the cats) and it fit perfectly. I was still skeptical because i had never seen it like that. So i called ARK. Alex told me that it usually goes before the Y pipe (right after the cats). So that's how we did it.

It sounds great, The hiss is there from the Berks, and it's pretty bad at times, but i'm not really that bothered by it. It sounds pretty cool IMO lol.

What bothers me is that right after the X pipe from the two fat resonator (i think thats what they are) things, the passenger side just SLIGHTLY touches the V shaped brace / scrape plate in the middle. If i go over a bump or around a corner, i can hear it bouncing off of it.

Did anyone else have this issue?

 

So we found the problem. It was where the flange is for the passenger side muffler to the pipe that goes OVER the rear sway bar. The exhaust flange was hitting the axel flange right above it. Before and after pics:

It doesn't seem like a huge difference, but it doesn't make contact anymore. NOW i have an issue of when the car is under load, that same piece that goes over the motor dyne sway bar touches. Making a metal vibrating noise.. ugh
