HKS Exhaust tips touching bumper

Hey guys, my HKS exhaust tips has those adjustable bolts and those bolts are touching the bumper. It's causing some vibration and it's scratching the bumper a bit.

Here's a picture I found of under the HKS exhaust on a 350z:

Can anyone tell me how to lower the exhaust a little?

My friend decided to shove a metal pole into the exhaust and step on it, it did nothing and I screamed at him...

Lol good job. But thats not all I would have done. I would have punched that friend.

But there is a DIY thread many years ago that went over the procedures to lower the HKS. You should look for it.

You might be able to loosen the nuts where the flanges are and adjust it. Then re-tighten the nuts.

You can do the washers under the screws that mount the hangers but that isn't always enough. You can have a professional shop bend the hanger into place, or other members have heated the hanger (or sometimes not even heated) and bent it to fit themselves.
