New exhaust touching cf diffuser.

hey so I just recently got a new exhaust system installed and the only fitment issue is that if the adjustable tips are put on, it comes in direct contact with the diffuser, but if we take the tips off, there's a tiny tiny gap. Anything I can do to correct this? Like a rubber bumper or something to make a gap between the two. Maybe a piece of something that won't melt but will keep a spacing?

What kind of diffuser is it..? Geussing it's one of those clip on/ 3m tape it on ones....? Ditch the diffuser man, those tape on ones are quite stupid in my honest opinion... And yes, I learned the hard way with what your going through...

Giving your exhaust tips that extra room so it doesn't destroy your diffuser isn't rocket science! Have your muffler shop slightly heat up the pipe ahead of your tips and pull down on the tips for clearance. For the 10 minutes it would take to do the job right it's worth paying your muffler guy to do it right!
