Any good way to quiet down an aftermarket exhaust?

So the Momentum exhaust is ridiculously loud, and it's scaring people on the road when I get on it. I've already had people honk and honestly I wouldn't cutting the drone down a bit. Anyways, is there a good way to quiet it down without compromising power? I dont care if I lose 10hp or something, but would rather not lose a significant amount.

How much difference does something like a resonator really make? And if it's not significant, could you add 2 or something?

Maybe they're honking because they think it sounds sexy? I'd take it as a compliment either way.

But seriously, you can add some resonators in the middle or beginning of the exhaust and it'll quiet it down without you losing power.

Pm Bracketracersteve he put a vibrant resonator on his momentum exhaust. Steve's may be quieter than yours since he is turbo.

The best you can add is a magnaflow resonator.

I just installed a vibrant resonator on the stock midpipe in an attempt to quite down the rasp caused by my HFCs. The resonator WILL quiete the car down.

Did you get a tune at all? I've noticed that some exhaust combos sound a lot cleaner/ sexier after a proper dyno tune, that might help some
