Exhaust Options for 05 G35X

I can't seem to find much info about performance parts for the AWD G35x, I picked up my g35 a while back and after dynoing it and getting lower than expect numbers I found out my exhaust is crushed at the y pipe.

The only option I can seem to find is the stillen exhaust and it comes in at a grand. I looked at the Meganracing pipes but they said they were only for the RWD sedans.

I have tried searching .

No viable option from the y to the front. Y-back systems from the RWD cars will work though.

I would personally just get another stock x y-pipe. They're pretty efficient as it is. I'm personally going to wait and see if Motordyne makes the xyz for the awd.

Having just spent months researching this I can honestly tell you that Y-pipes for the RWD sedan will NOT work on your car.

The stock X Y-pipe is almost identical to the HR Y-pipe, so it's pretty good already. Get a replacement Y-pipe for the X and call it a day.

Or talk to member audiophool, he has a full Fast Intentions setup including purpose-built Y-pipe for the X sedan.

I can't believe that no one seems to mod the AWD.

I think it's more a numbers thing, there really aren't so many X's around

Have you spoken to any of the vendors to see if they're able to mod one for you?

Replacement pipe will be better that you've got now, but unless you go mandrel bent and decent merge, it's still going to be 'off'

I'm worried about having something modded with the car nothing being there. I'm acutally wondering if the slight dent is actually hurting performance. I strapped it to the dyno and she made

218awhp on dynojet 424xl
2004-2007 STi's make 230-245 bone stock on our dyno.

I just installed a Ztube and KN drop in filter.

Depends on the dent size, but anything will cause a restriction, that pipe from the factory is a restriction.

MadMaxx See I'm not so sure if it really is a that much of a restriction the supercharger kits out there make over 350whp through the stock y pipe.

I'm going to grab a few more parts and a uprev flash and see if she picks up power.
Spacer / Decatting /reflash
If I can hit 240+awhp I'll be happy

It's possible.

However, FI basically creates power via brute force, there is no finesse, you'll make good power through a garden hose :/

Uprev flash is good, spacer is good, decat will free up the exhaust.

NA engines are basically much more sensitive to things, so i would expect things like dented exhausts to make a difference. Do you have any pics of the dent?
