I'm going to rack it up this weekend when I'm up at the shop. I'll take some shots. I figure if I add the decat and don't pick up power my y is restricting me. I do have a project car also(subaru turned up ~400awhp)

I'm actually a Protuner part time. I use to do it full time. I've defiantly did some nasty NA GMs. It sucks that my shop does not have uprev.

I'll snap a couple pics of the owners's brothers G35 that makes 900whp

Wow, please post a vid of the 900, that's crazy sauce!!

So you know what gains you get on decats, even if the ypipe is restricting you, the decats are more so, so expect a gain regardless. I'm assuming the dent is not crushing the pipe on this basis.

No it's not that horrible, I think I over reacted and I'm going to feel salt if its just the heat shield... I was just disappointed with my first dyno numbers, But consider how lean the car was I know there is 10 more sitting on the table by adding 6-10% more fuel (Richen her up to lean best tq vs 13.9!!!!)

I wish it wasn't 700$ to self tune... so for now she stays cookie cutter so I can just get the reflash. I can't find dynos or anything about the X's so I;ll document my NA Adventure and maybe come bonus season next year she could get boost .... More likely is that I build a Factory Five 818 out of my 400whp ej257 setup.

^^^ Just for reference (different dyno/conditions) my AWD G35 dynoed at 221 hp stock. An uprev tune brought it to 241 hp. Only mod is a 5/16 plenum spacer.
Here's the graph https://g35driver.com/forums/6163810-post46.html

Jamal I don't think so . I've heard a rumor that the HR pipe might fit but no info to back that up

Looking to revive this old thread, I'm having the same issue. Anyone have some good exhaust options for the G35X owners out there? And if a grand at Stillen is the best option, is anyone a fan of it? How different from the stock performance and noise is it?

The Stillen is the best the sedan can get in terms of performance. Gen 1s have been known to be too loud.
The gen 2s are more quiet. But some will say it's too quiet.
