you won't see massive gains from an intake, you'll see about the same from a drop in K&N filter and z-tube. Intake's do look good tho

Install is pretty straight forward, should take around 30 mins if you have the right tools

Stillen + Z-tube can be picked up for about that much and it has a nice air box around the filter so you're not sucking in hot engine bay air. That k&n one doesn't look like cold air to me..

I went with a z-tube, revup venturi ring in stock box, and airaid synthamax non oiled drop in filter cause k and n sucks a big one. Sounds great and pulls good about 6 to 8 ponies increase! Try it on.

Decided against the K&N because of heat soak. Went ahead and got the Stillen+ Z tube

Dyno sheets for before and after or is it just a placebo effect / justify the purchase......

You are right about placebo affect for sure no denying it. But its not like stillen or r2c or jwt claiming 12 hp. I built mine using the best stock parts and a great panel filter and not to forget maf cleaning, I swear by what I said earlier, there are gains to be had not much but gains none the less.
