I thought it was like the longer the intake the more power you get.... I was building a maze around my engine out of pvc pipes... way to shatter my dreams.

Same I though more air more power. I got like 5 90° cuplers and like 2 feet of 3in pvc

The guy said you need a 10% increase in power to feel it...I disagree.

A 2005 g35 sedan is definitely more responsive than a 2004 g35 sedan and that's only a 7% increase (correct me if I'm wrong).

I wouldn't take this as some scientific test. They don't tune the car after changing filters. In fact, they don't even mention resetting the ECU afterwards.

With that said, I use the stock airbox

2004 is rated at a lower hp?

FD gearing may have been different also.

But, I disagree with that too since I was able to feel the difference between a cold and hot CAI, which I doubt was less then a 10% difference.

After seeing this, I might go swap my JWT Poop filter back to OEM airbox. Z tube is so loud with my exhaust tho.
