I'm new to the forum, i purchased a 07 g35 coupe, my question is, i want to put a exhaust on it, can anyone recommend a good system..should i go with the cat back..or get a full system with header, what kind of hp should i expect to gain? i have heard that these cars come pretty dialed in from the factory..any info would be helpful thanks

They do come pretty well sorted from the factory, but the stock exhausts aren't great. It's going to depend heavily on how much noise you want to create, but generally, the good brands are worth the money.

Ark seem to make nice sounds, but i've seen a lot of drone reports. Having personally experienced drone on my car, i *never* *ever* want it again.

 

did it seem a lot faster do you know what your gains in hp and ft/lbs?
