is the M2 Perofrmance Exhaust same as Ebay HKS replicas? quality and sound wise? if anyone has any info on this please let me know

 

They're all very similar in sound.
Cheap, poor fitment, drone etc.
Be prepared to trouble shoot some problems when installing.

 

no it is not. that hks system is made by about 4 companies. m2, has the best quality of them all.

 

i went with DNA Motoring. I think all the replicas have the same issues of poor quality, fitment, and drone... however, my DNA Motoring fit just about perfectly, and there is little drone compared to all the other exhausts I've had on my RX8, 350Z, A4, Mustang in the past.

 

They are the same I upgraded to the magnaflow xpipe and had a muffler shop bend the pipes so fits perfect and I love it.

 

just for clarification...the xpipe eliminated the rasp at WOT right? i'm probly gonna get one of those too

 

i am running stock catalytic converters and I have absolutely no rasp. others that use test pipes sometimes report rasp. so if you do run test pipes and want to eliminate drone you would want the magnapflow resonator.

 

okay, well i have stock cats and i still have rasp from about 4k+ on the tach in 1st thru 3rd gears... i'm wondering if the xpipe will take away this rasp...the rasp from the catback. not from the test pipes. if i do end up doing anything to my cats later on, it'll be getting high flows...

 

if you have rasp then yeah I would try the magnaflow resonator. cheapest way to get it is to go on ebay look for the ones that say best offer and low ball. you should be able to get it fo 80 shipped
