Mixed answers - What is the definite midpipe size before and after the resonator?

On a sedan. One thread will say it's 2.5 inches, one will say 3 inches, one even said 2.75 inches. Does anyone know the definite answer of the midpipe's size?

Edit: by before and after I mean in front of and behind.

I could measure the one from my 350z if it's any use as it's off the car right now.

It's a uniform ~2.45". I've measured both the 03/04 sedan midpipe, 05/06 sedan midpipe, and 03-07 coupe midpipe.
