Question on plenum spacer & manifold

So I bought my G35 sedan 6spd used and noticed it has the plenum spacer on it already. The top plenum/manifold has no stamping on it at all like the Infiniti brand or something & the only thing it has is a part # I'm guessing on the side which says AK6003 but google shows nothing for that part # any where.
I thought I read somewhere that the 05/06 models don't work with the spacer unless you have the Mrev-2, now I may have read that wrong as I'm new to the G35 world but trying to figure out whats going on for mods with this. Any help? thanks!

Will do in a bit.. the spacer is black which the only black 1 I could find is Skunk2. & looking for more pics it looks like the top plenum is stock although the part # doesn't show up in google for some reason.

The MREV2 is a modified bottom plenum, and it looks very similar to stock. Probably need to open it up to be sure, not sure if they are marked on the outside. They are made off of the non-uprev engine plenum. The MREV2 will have obviously hand ground/polished portions on the inside.

Yeah it's an 06 6mt 4 door... I'm guessing Skunk 2 spacer like I said since it's black & I notice the motor dyne is silver.. I really don't want to take apart the plenum up top to check but I'm assuming that it definitely has the Mrev-2? Or can you bolt up a spacer anyways?

The spacer alone on the revup engine isn't going to do much since the lower plenum restricts the air flow. The car "should" have the MREV2 installed already but that doesn't mean it does. What you do is your choice, but if I bought a modded vehicle I would start tearing apart everything to learn what all has been done to it.

Oh ok, I thought it was needed. I'll have to take off the plenum at some point then to see what it's got.
