Rev up air box or stillen high flow air box?

Just installed my 5/16 copper plenum spacer and installed a Z-tube. Didn't get the sound I expected from the z-tube using my stock air box and filter. I was planning on getting the Rev up air box with the k&n drop in due to the larger opening design of the rev up. But will I get any difference with this set up or would I have to go With the stillen and cone shaped filter? Isn't the cone shaped filter essentially a pop charger? Lmk guys what you think?
Btw I have an 05 5AT Gcoupe

Check it out on www.stillen.com, his CAI is made of plastic composite and comes with a giant K&N filter and it's own air box. You won't have issues with heat soak due to the construction. Do you understand what heat soak is and how it effects RWHP in warm weather? I keep a Stillen Z-Tube/CAI (comes with CARB sticker) as a backup just in case our state gets more chicken **** with it's smog checks. They've dropped the sniffer tests, only time will tell what they'll be looking for now but I'm off the hook this year....Gary

Lol ya I get the heat soak and such, at this point I was looking for more of a growl. Would I get a better growl from upgrading my non rev up air box to the rev up air box with k&n or rather with the stillen? Does the shape of the filter cause the sound?

I have tried different intakes including rev and non rev with and wo KN filter. The best sound I got was from the OEM Z tube and Wolf Pop Charger. When I put on my new exhaust it was TOO loud so I went to z tube, rev box and KN.

Used Wolf pop chargers show up here used. They are pretty inexpensive and might be worth a shot just so you can hear it. If the sound is what is important to you.

Are you sure the Stillen box is big enough for the R2C? I have the R2C intake and the filter's huge.

When I ordered the filter, I had option to select which air box I had. Stillen was one of the choices. I'm assuming that was to ensure proper fitment of the filter. Bought it from Z1 Motorsports.

If you want sound I would def go for the stillen... I have the rev up box with a z-tube/k&n as well as a 5/16 spacer and MREV2 and it's only slightly louder than stock.

Well received my Stillen air box today, finally. The company I ordered the R2C filter from appears to have sent me the wrong one because it doesn't come even close to fitting. So I'm in the process of getting a smaller one.
