Question High-Flow Cats

Which Cats are the best? I'm looking to upgrade and I'd like to know which ones are the best bang for the buck and the best place to buy them from. And If it matters I be getting them next month.

Crawford are said to be the best. Kinetix is much cheaper though. I am planning on finally getting a set soon as well. Were you going to install them yourself or have someone do it?

I thought that the RT cats were the ones that had the guts that disintigrate and blow out the back of your tail pipe.

ya they are made with human internals, thats what makes them high flo...just floor it and every time a different part comes out!! RT surprise cats. no but seriously, i hadnt heard about that. i have heard that after hi flo cats installs that people reported initial debris if u can call it that coming out but i didnt know they exploded!! Even more reason to pick them up!!

a few people had a problem with rt cats (collapsing). they aren't designed to last forever. high flow cats are actually a bi-product of the quick catalytic converter fix to pass smog. that's why they are free-flowing. but if you treat them right they should last a while (few years). basically, warm up the car before you step on it. don't get into it cold and punch it.

hope this helps
