Motordyne TDX..got mine but not exactly as I expected...opinions

Been wanting the exhaust since 2009, and finally pulled the trigger in April this year. I waited 8 weeks and paid the $1600 for it. Now obviously when you pay $1600 for a part you expect it to be as you see it on the site right?

Well Im still up in the air on these visual pieces...I wanted to get your guys opinion on whether or not its worth contacting them.

First off, of course the exhaust sounds great and the gains in performance are actually obvious after install, thats not the complaint. Also I know I will barely ever see the piping but from the rear I feel its quite obvious.

Lets put aside the fact they are hard to get. The fact is I paid for it and I kinda feel like I didnt get 100% of what I was hoping.

The piping isnt polished in the top circle..
The canisters are welded tops and not smooth and beveled at the ends.
MINE

What I see on every other pic of the motordyne TDX 2...

from their site

I honestly just want some unbiased opinions from people that arent aggrevated like Iam. the more I think about it the more it kind of pisses me off

First off, damn 8 week wait. I got mine in 3-4 days from Motordyne back around Dec or Jan. Anyways I'm not sure if those two sections of my pipes are dull or not as its been awhile since I installed, I'll have to check. Lastly my resonators/canisters are rounded smooth like the other two pics. Yours looks like one of the earlier versions before they started rounding them off smooth. Might want to call them up. BTW did you buy direct from there site?

I would contact Motordyne. The piping that isn't polished up like it's supposed to be is unacceptable.

Common sense told me I should contact them but I definitely felt I should get some opinions

JaE, I never new they even used those resonators. I have never seen that style on cars even when the tdx2 was first released
