Just installed a catback..

I just installed a catback on my 2003 g35 6MT and at first I thought it was just because the ECU needed to get used to it. But now I don't know. Problem is, when I turn the car on it feels like it's trying to get gas than dies but if I rev it at the start up its fine.. I'm confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

How many times have you driven it since the install? Also what altitude are you at?

It's a magnaflow cat back. I'm getting the XYZ w/ resonator next than the ART pipes. It doesn't sound too bad and I wanted to go with something a little different. I couldn't afford the shockwave all at once lol

Have you checked for exhaust leaks?

I would reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery or doing the pedal press technique. Then go for a drive (15+ miles) so the ECU can calibrate fully.
