Aftermarket vs. Custom Midpipe

Currently, I have Motordyne ART pipes and an XYZ, with a Magnaflow axle-back. I've been looking everywhere for an midpipe, but buying one by itself is seemingly impossible. First of all, do any of you guys know where I can get an aftermarket midpipe by itself?

If not, I've been considering having one made. If I did, it'd be a full 3". I've heard of people having some serious rasp issues when deleting the resonator on the factory midpipe. If I were to have one completely made from scratch, do you think that adding the 12" Vibrant resonator would solve any rasp that I may run into?

Cut the resonator off of your stock midpipe and go with an 18" vibrant or magnaflow bottle resonator. You'll be happy you did. Walker also makes the pipe for the coupe in bolt on flavor with a 12" similar bottle resonator. LMK if you need the link.

Awesome, I might just have the resonator replaced. Do you happen to know what the pipe diameter is on the factory midpipe?

Awesome, thanks. I remember reading somewhere how the y-pipe is 2.25 in/2.5 out, but I wasn't sure if the sedan was different from the coupe.

Thanks again!
