Maybe you should go and find an exhaust experts forum if you only want their opinion.

I'm not sure which exhaust you are talking about but when I installed the Borla in my sedan it weighed a lot less then the stock exhaust.

Well one might assume that Nissan employes "exhaust experst" and that they might know a thing or two about designing an exhaust system.

For some reason they chose to have a certain diameter y-pipe and not a true dual exhaust. Back pressure is an important consideration with exhaust design, and we all know that for Turbo applications, true dual exhausts rule. Many people have had TD exhausts with S/C set ups and several of them switched to the Y-Pipe set up and said that the cars "responded better" to the y-pipe design. Esemes, a Florida Local immediately comes to mind.

Also demonteverde321 (another FL local) installed Esemes' old BORLA exhaust on his coupe. He did pre and post dynos and gained a whoppin' 2rwhp at redline.

IMO a NA or S/C'd G35 benefits as well if not better with a y-pipe.
