Im looking into getting a exhaust system that's not so expensive. i was just wondering if anyone has heard of manzo exhaust and how good they are. its a toss up between the manzo if its any good and megan racing exhaust.

Neither. Both aren't any good.
Better off saving your money for a used setup that'll perform and sound better.

 

Megan is a good exhaust! I had to get a mid pipe made. Megan is back ordered. I found a megaen oe rs muffler. The welds and craftmanship is very good! You can spend big bucks and not get better results. If you can find megan oe rs system buy it! The sound is alittle louder but deeper! It cost me $435 for everything. Megan is very good you get stainless steel and it is direct bolt up.you will gain alittle hp too!

 

Do not buy crap just because it is cheap. If you dont have much money either save up and buy a decent exhaust, look for a decent used exhaust in the forum classified section, or keep it stock.

 

Motordyne is a very good exhaust. ARK is a very good exhaust. Megan is not a very good exhaust.



^ exactly. Don't let your mod bug bite overtake your common sense. Show a little pride in your car and save until you're ready to buy a setup that's built well.

I dont know why you call it crap. The exhaust shop that installed my exhaust was impressed With the megan build! You can spend more but will it be twice as good.If megan is so bad why is everybody out of them? It is easy to tell them to spend if he asked about borla or hks. I gave what hecwanted to know from owning not second hand info. I have had many people ask about my exhaust because the like its sound.

 

Megan is pure shit.

If you dont like rasp or drone, Megan is a bad choice.
If you just want your car loud so you can rev over and over in parking garages, then Megan will be good.

 

read other threads. even Honda guys hate it and talk about welds falling apart. For a Honda guy to complain about cheap chit on their cars thats saying something.

Here is a sound clip of a 07 sedan with a manzo exhaust and megan test pipes and takeda CAI. Which is a $1200 setup and would probably smoke the people who call his setup crap. People who spend big on parts want all cheap parts to be inferior when that is not always the case.

Also, no G is "smoking" another G simply because of an exhaust.
